About the Artist
Chicago-based artist, Latia Jackson, also known as Afro Picasso, is a bold new face in the art world. With a repertoire of black cultured realism-pop paintings and the written word, she is creating her own lane and dominating it. A graduate of Governors State University with a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts and a minor in Creative Writing, Latia is a credentialed, creative, and bold artist with a sharp focus on building a sustainable brand, taking it worldwide. She desires to continue to create art that inspires others while uplifting the black community.
